Charles Weathers joins Sisters of Charity Foundation for second year as Nonprofit Leadership faculty advisor.

2011 Graduates of Nonprofit Leadership Program

Columbia, SC (August 12, 2009) –  In partnership with Columbia College SC,  The Sisters of Charity  has just completed its second year of a Nonprofit Leadership Training program designed for nonprofit leaders who are recognized as having great potential and are ready to take their nonprofit leadership to the next level. The yearlong graduate program provides participants with the opportunity to enhance knowledge, skills and frameworks to lead their organizations in an ever-changing and diverse society.  Seven students graduated with a certificate in Nonprofit Leadership Training from Columbia College’s graduate program in Organizational Change Management.  This is a college certificate program and, upon completion, participants earn nine graduate credit hours. Columbia College is accredited by the  http://www.sacs.org/ .

Charles Weathers, Founder of The Weathers Group, helped design the case study and curriculum and also provided instruction on Ethics, Teambuilding, and Strategic Leadership.  “I love teaching emerging leaders about strategies to improve their performance.” states Weathers.  “They are doing such critical work in our communities through their organizations and need support from more quality programs such as this to develop professionally.”
